Hi my love!
I’m a nature-loving Pisces and a mom of two beautiful boys who shower me with love each and every day. I’m a wife to my husband who continues to be baffled by my daring leaps but supports me nonetheless. I’m a natural health expert, passionate about helping people live healthy lives in natural and sustainable ways. I’m dedicated to transforming women’s health so that they can achieve body confidence, glowing skin, abundant energy and balanced hormones. Why? Because I believe when women are well, families thrive, and the world becomes a better place.
As a mom, I love learning about how I can serve my children better, physically, psychologically, emotionally, developmentally and environmentally. In this dynamic, spiritual journey of motherhood, I’m constantly learning, evolving to love my children and myself wholeheartedly and unconditionally. I’ve learned the hard way that without loving and nourishing myself, I cannot be the present, patient and loving parent that I want to be. I’ve also learned being a mother in this day and age can be extremely exhausting, vulnerable and often lonely.
I was pregnant with my first when I was in medical school. I cannot find the words to describe the feeling of finally holding my baby in my arms. The pure bliss and gratitude, the sudden weight of enormous responsibility and the fear of the unknown swept over me. I was in awe. I was vulnerable. Yet I was determined. To love this little child with all the love I can give. Back to reality, I’ve gone back to study part-time when my baby was 2.5 months old. The demands of school alone were overwhelming. The lack of sleep and breastfeeding made it even more challenging. I did what I do best. Push myself. Persevere. Set my needs aside. Because something’s gotta give, right?
When my baby turned 9 months, I developed IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). I was having episodes of extreme cramping, bloating and diarrhea after meals about once every 2 weeks. I had no clue what was going on. I was in denial of the possibility that it may be food-related because I was not ready to change my diet. When my husband moved to BC to pursue his career, I ended up solo-parenting my then 2-year-old. I became so exhausted that little things irritated me. My weight was all over the map from being stick thin to being bloated and puffy. I constantly felt like I was behind in school. I felt like I was failing my child. I felt isolated going back and forth between home, daycare, and school. I finally sought help by booking an appointment at my school clinic. With the help of an intern and the supervising ND, I started working on my foundation. As a result, my skin started clearing up. The bloating and cramping stopped. I had more energy. I was much calmer and grounded. I felt supported and nourished. I was able to focus better, be efficient and productive with my studies. I was able to be more present and patient with my son. This was reflected in my son’s behaviours. He was having fewer tantrums, more confidence and less sickness. This was a defining moment when I realized that I had to be well in order to serve and care for the people I love and to live my dream life.
This is why I’m on a mission to uplevel women’s health and well-being. Because by working with women, I not only get to make a massive change in their lives but in the lives of their children, our future generation. I strongly believe that when we love and nourish ourselves, we can live more vibrantly, love more abundantly. So together let’s create a legacy of health, of true self-love that will transform your lives and those of your loved ones.
With all my love,
